Red Velvet Cupcakes
This recipe uses Midtown Mix Chocolate Cake Base, be sure to check out other recipes that use this base as well! As written, this will make 12 standard cupcakes
You provide:
Supplies & Equipment:
Muffin tin and liners
Bowl and whisk
Ingredients:
2/3 cup sour cream
6 TBS oil
2 eggs
1 tbs red food coloring
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Cream cheese filling (copy over from carrot cake)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line muffin tin with desired liners
Step 1:
Whisk together all liquid ingredients. Once combined, pour Midtown Mix Chocolate Cake Base into bowl and combine
Step 2:
Portion evenly into muffin tin and bake for 20 minutes without opening the oven.
Step 3:
Let cool and spread or pipe frosting over cupcakes

Slice fruit and blend to consistency of marmalade
