Our 16 oz Midtown Mix Almond Cake Mix makes elegant, flavorful desserts easy. Crafted with premium, California-grown almond flour, this gluten-free mix delivers rich flavor, a tender crumb, and consistently beautiful results.
Everything you need for success is included in the mix and on our website. Just add a few fresh ingredients, a little love, and in most cases, all you need is a bowl and a whisk.

All our mixes are 100% gluten and dairy free. Most Almond Cake recipes can be made dairy free and with your favorite egg replacer, most convert to vegan recipes perfectly!
Our packaging is always 100% compostable or curbside recyclable. Our paper bags are coated with biodegradable PLA and we use biodegradable labels, so just pull off the tin tab (recyclable) and toss in your green-waste bin (if available).
Our pizza dough base will make the most delicious gluten free pizza, breadsticks or flatbread, check out the recipe page for more information. Use just oil, water and a stand mixer (electric hand mixer is possible, but challenging) to make phenomenal gluten and dairy free doughs.
One bottle of mix will make about 2 - 12×16” crusts or 3 - 10” rounds.

Gluten and dairy free, this mix can be used to make our classic sandwich bread, swapping butter for olive oil to keep dairy free. Check out all our recipes to pick your next adventure!
Our breads usually work best in a stand mixer, but can be made with some elbow grease and an electric hand mixer. This recipe is not recommended for hand mixing, but some of our Bread Base Two recipes can be made without electric mixers.

Midtown Mix was founded because good food should be easy to make, fun to share, and available to everyone, even when life gets busy.
Along with our mission to make creating great food easy, Midtown Mix is committed to sustainability, community, and integrity in everything we do.
Alison earned her PhD and spent 15 years working in drug development. While working busy jobs, she struggled find the time and energy to feed her family high quality food on busy weeknights and she knew she wasn’t alone. Midtown Mix was born from her desire to make home cooking joyful, simple, and delicious.
